CBT Retirees Gather for Annual Luncheon

Retired faculty and staff at luncheon on April 12, 2019

The College of Business and Technology welcomed back retired Colonels with a special luncheon on Friday, April 12, 2019. Held in the Dr. Janna P. Vice Atrium of the Business and Technology Center each spring, the event brings together retired CBT faculty and staff to catch up on news in the college, and each others' lives.

Dean Tom Erekson greeted the retirees and reported on the College. This year looks promising, as student enrollment is up for the College of Business and Technology. Developing partnerships with Chinese universities brings opportunity to the School of Business, as well as the continued growth in the recently redesigned MBA program. In the School of Applied Sciences and Technology enrollment is up, particularly in specialty programs such as Pre-Veterinary Sciences and Aviation.

The Retired Colonels Luncheon is a tradition that began with Dean Erekson several years ago and will surely continue. Many faculty and staff, current as well as retired, look forward to the event each spring. The efforts of Sandy Taylor, Administrative Assistant to the Dean, are greatly appreciated in coordinating such a successful luncheon.
