Congratulations to the Army’s newest 2nd Lieutenants!  On the 9th of May 2019, the Colonel’s Battalion marked the completion of years of hard work and dedication to become an officer in the United States Army.

CBT Grads Honored at Spring 2019 Commencement

At its spring convocation on Friday, May 10th, the College of Business and Technology honored 392 bachelor's degrees, 36 master's degrees, and 35 associate degrees for a total of 463 degrees. The ceremony was held in the Alumni Coliseum on EKU's campus at 6:30 pm.

Distinguished Alum Hardy Tribble Honored

On the morning of Thursday, May 2, 2019, faculty and staff of the College of Business and Technology, as well as EKU administration, ROTC cadets and students, joined alumnus John Hardy Tribble and his family and friends for a special dedication as the ROTC Challenge Course was renamed to the John Hardy Tribble Challenge Course. 

EKU Team Among Top 6 in the Nation in Bank Case Study Competition

EKU's School of Business is pleased to share that the EKU student team is advancing in the nation in the Conference of State Bank Supervisors' Bank Case Study Competition. They have advanced through two rounds of judging to top 6 in the nation. The final three teams will be announced on May 23.

The College of Business and Technology welcomed back retired Colonels with a special luncheon on Friday, April 12, 2019. Held in the Dr. Janna P. Vice Atrium of the Business and Technology Center each spring, the event brings together retired CBT faculty and staff to catch up on news in the college, and each others' lives.

CBT Announces Abby Sanders as 2019 Distinguished Senior

EKU's College of Business and Technology is pleased to announce Ms. Elizabeth (Abby) Sanders as the 2019 Distinguished Senior. Each year, the College of Business and Technology selects a Distinguished Senior. This $1,000 award is given annually at the EKU Scholar's Assembly to the student judged by the Colleges’ department chairs to be the overall distinguished senior.

Each year, the College of Business and Technology honors some of the star students from each department with awards and scholarships. The Distinguished Senior awards are presented to students possessing superior academic achievement, excellent leadership, citizenship, character, and service to EKU.

EKU to Offer Agriculture Engineering Technology Concentration

Eastern Kentucky University’s Department of Agriculture, in conjunction with the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology, will begin offering a concentration in Agriculture Engineering Technology in the fall 2019 semester.
