Rita Davis named honorary Foundation Professor

Rita Davis

Dr. Rita Davis has been named an honorary EKU Foundation Professor for 2014-16. Her name will be inscribed on the perpetual plaque located in the main Library.

B&T students inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta

Alpha Lambda Delta Inductees at Eastern Kentucky University accepted membership and were inducted into National Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society for First Year Students on March 25, 2014. Membership in Alpha Lambda Delta is open to full-time freshmen students who earn a scholastic average of 3.5 or better at a four-year college or university.

Wednesday, March 19, Toyota VP of external affairs, Mike Goss visited Eastern’s campus to speak with several groups of students from the Department of Communication. Goss, oversees 14 plants in North America.

Xiao recognized as 2014 Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year

EKU's Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year is an award to recognize outstanding faculty members who have had substantial positive  effects on developing their students’ critical/creative thinking skills.

Business School Ranks Seventh Nationally in "Best for Vets" Survey

Eastern Kentucky University, home to more than 1,300 veterans and their dependents, is ranked seventh nationally among the “Best for Vets: Business Schools” by Military Times EDGE magazine, up from 16th a year ago.

A vice president from Toyota will pay a visit to Eastern on Wednesday, March 19.

Mike Goss, external affairs vice president of Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing for North America, will speak in three different sessions from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. in Room 108 inside the Crabbe Library.
