EKU Student Team to Participate in Alltech Innovation Competition

Three Eastern Kentucky University seniors, with the guidance of faculty mentors, will be participating in the 2nd Alltech Innovation Competition to be held on April 26, 2014. Alltech is seeking a business plan to capitalize on innovation in Kentucky's food and agriculture sectors - with $20,000 in prizes on the line.

Rogow appointed National Phi Kappa Phi Interim President-Elect

The Phi Kappa Phi Board of Directors has appointed an interim president-elect to fill the vacancy left by the untimely death of Ray Sylvester. Sylvester died on Feb. 5 after a brief illness. Robert Rogow, professor of accounting and dean of the College of Business and Technology at Eastern Kentucky University, will serve as interim president-elect through Aug. 2014.

Dr. Rogow joined Eastern Kentucky University 16 years ago as Dean of the College of Business.  He will retire on July 31, 2014, as Dean of the College of Business and Technology.
