CBT Distinguished Speaker Series - Black History Month
The College of Business and Technology celebrated Black History Month with a special edition of the CBT Executive in Residence / Distinguished Speaker for Eastern Kentucky University, co-hosted by the EKU Diversity Office.
CBT partners with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce to bring leaders of business, industry, and government to the EKU campus to address students, faculty, and members of the Richmond community and surrounding areas on current topics and issues.
We were pleased to welcome Mr. Andrew Page, EKU alum and Corporate Controller of Under Armour, as the College of Business and Technology 2016-17 Executive-in-Residence/Distinguished Speaker. He visited the EKU campus on Thursday, February 9, 2017, to speak with College faculty, staff and students.

Mr. Andrew Page
We are honored to have Mr. Andrew Page ('92, BBA Accounting), as this year’s Executive-in-Residence/Distinguished Speaker.
With more than 24 years of experience since leaving EKU, Mr. Page is currently the Corporate Controller of Under Armour Inc (UA) in Baltimore, Md. In this role, Page has overall responsibility for the controllership and financial reporting activities for Under Armour, Inc. His responsibilities also include oversight of the Company’s equity plans, M&A and systems of internal controls. Page joined Under Armour in 2011 as the Assistant Corporate Controller before progressing to his current role. Under Armour’s global revenue is approaching $5 billion in 2016 and the brand is widely recognized as the global leader in performance apparel, footwear and accessories.
Prior to joining Under Armour, Mr. Page served as Assistant Controller for Discovery Communications, General Electric, AES Corporation and FTI Consulting. Page began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young. A Certified Public Accountant, Page also holds an MBA in International Business from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and currently lives in Upper Marlboro, Md.
Page spoke on his experiences at a Public Address in the Business and Technology Center Rogow Auditorium (BTC 049) from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. He was also be available to discuss current events and issues at a Faculty Breakfast Roundtable from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. in the Business and Technology Center Executive Conference Room (BTC 206).
Following the public address, he joined EKU Administration officials and the Richmond business community for a luncheon hosted by the Richmond Chamber of Commerce in the EKU Center for the Arts Black Box Theater.
