2016 CBT Distinguished Alumni

The College of Business and Technology is pleased to announce Distinguished Alumni for 2015-2016.

Each academic department nominates alumni who have become successful in their field. From that group, department faculty select a single individual who not only exhibits excellence in their chosen profession but also brings credit to the University through professional achievement and personal accomplishment.

These outstanding alumni were honored by their respective departments at end of the semester awards and recognition events.

Department of Accounting, Finance & Information Systems

Ms. Jaclyn T. Badeau, CPA, CGMA, MBA (BBA Accounting) - Director, Controller for Tempur Sealy International, Inc. in Lexington, Ky.

Department of Agriculture

Mr. Marcus Adams (2004 BS Career & Technical Education, Agriculture) - Principal of Meade County High School in Branderbury, Ky.

Department of Applied Engineering & Technology

Mr. Kyle Chism (2000 BS, 2003 MS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology) - President of Chism Automation in Somerset, Ky.

Department of Communication

Ms. Maribeth McBride Berman ('92 BA Public Relations)  - Vice Chair of the Foundation Board at Eastern Kentucky University

Department of Management, Marketing & International Business

Mr. Chad Miles ('99 BBA Management) - Host of "Kentucky Afield" for the Kentucky Department Fish and Wildlife Resources

Department of Military Science & Leadership

COL William J. Butler ('90 BA History with Military Leadership Minor; MS in Education, Troy University) - Deputy Chief of Staff / G3, Director of Operations, U.S. Army Cadet Command
