Alum Troy Ellis Announced as 2015 CBT Distinguished Speaker

The College of Business and Technology is pleased to welcome Mr. Troy Ellis, EKU Alum and Executive Vice President for Supply Chain of Domino’s Pizza, as the College of Business and Technology 2015 Executive-in-Residence/Distinguished Speaker. He will visit the EKU campus on Thursday, October 22, 2015, to speak with College faculty, staff and students.

The College is partnering with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. The mission of the College’s Distinguished Speaker Series is to bring leaders of business, industry, and government to the EKU campus to address students, faculty, and members of the Richmond community and surrounding areas on current topics and issues. 

We are honored to have Mr. Troy Ellis, an Eastern alum ('87, BBA Computer Information Systems; Military Leadership Minor), as this year’s Executive-in-Residence/Distinguished Speaker. Mr. Ellis is a former U.S. Army Officer with a proven track record in private sector global supply chain management.

Ellis has been named as executive president supply chain for Domino's Pizza, the recognized world leader in pizza delivery and digital ordering technology. Ellis is a former U. S. Army officer serving in the 101st Airborne and was most recently senior vice president of conversion, overseeing manufacturing, transportation planning and third-party logistics for Coca-Cola Refreshments. He was responsible for a 12,000-person team producing 2.1 billion cases of beverages from 79 company-owned facilities, 36 contract manufacturing facilities and 64 third-party warehouses.

A  Louisville native, Ellis is an outstanding alumnus, whose professional experiences transcend both business and technology.

Ellis will speak on his experiences at a Public Address in the Business and Technology Center Rogow Auditorium (BTC 049) from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. He will also be available to discuss current events and issues at a Faculty Breakfast Roundtable from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. in the Business and Technology Center Executive Conference Room (BTC 206).

Following the public address, he will join EKU Administration officials and the Richmond business community for a luncheon at the EKU Center for the Arts, Black Box Theater.
