Scholar Athlete: McGlone Earns Degree in Business

Issac McGlone, from Lancaster, Oh., was among six student-athletes who earned their college degrees during the December graduation ceremonies.
 
The graduates included:  Justin Adekoya (football), Amadi Brooks (women's basketball), Zack Burgy-VanHoose (football), Jon Floyd (football), Issac McGlone (men's basketball), and Landon Rasnick (football).

In a combined ceremony on Friday evening, December 16th, the College of Business and Technology honored 145 bachelor's degrees, 19 master's degrees, and 13 associate degrees for a total of 177 degree candidates.

The ceremony was held in the Alumni Coliseum on EKU's campus at 6:30 pm and included degree candidates from the College of Education and the College of Science.

Restore, Recycle, Relay!! You don't have to lift a hammer to help! More than 50 volunteers turned out Saturday to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties.

Dr. Weiling Zhuang's Consumer Behavior class (MKT 350) needed a community service project and decided Habitat for Humanity was a perfect fit.

Lamanna Elected ACI Fellow

Dr. Anthony Lamanna, Associate Professor of Construction Management, has been elected Fellow of the American Concrete Institute. The ACI Fellowship is an international award bestowed upon members who have made significant contributions to the industry. Formal announcement of his election will be made at the ACI Spring 2017 Concrete Convention and Exposition in Detroit in March.
