EKU Accounting Class Partners with Local Agencies to Provide Free Income Tax Preparation

An Eastern Kentucky University accounting class is again partnering with the Central Kentucky Economic Empowerment Project and Kentucky River Foothills Community Action Agency to offer basic income tax preparation for those making $54,000 or less.

Sinnett Joins EKU Aviation Team

EKU Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dennis Sinnett as the new Aviation Program Coordinator. He succeeds Mr. Ralph Gibbs, who has directed the program for the past five years. Sinnett is a native of Annapolis, Md., and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.

Mr. Ben Robinson, Senior Sales Executive with C.H. Robinson Logistic, will visit EKU's School of Business on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017. He will speak in the Business and Technology Center Rogow Auditorium during the 11:00 a.m. class period to students, faculty, and staff.

But that’s what happened after young Horace Hunter took an international flight to visit his grandparents in Japan.

Scholar Athlete: McGlone Earns Degree in Business

Issac McGlone, from Lancaster, Oh., was among six student-athletes who earned their college degrees during the December graduation ceremonies.
 
The graduates included:  Justin Adekoya (football), Amadi Brooks (women's basketball), Zack Burgy-VanHoose (football), Jon Floyd (football), Issac McGlone (men's basketball), and Landon Rasnick (football).
