The College of Business and Technology welcomed back retired Colonels with a special luncheon on Friday, April 7, 2017. The event was held in the recently named Dr. Janna P. Vice Atrium of the Business and Technology Center. Faculty and staff renewed old friendships and caught up on college happenings.
EKU Agriculture students competed in the Alltech Innovation Competition last Saturday in Lexington, Ky. Team members were sophomore Mackenzie Mahon (Agriculture); juniors Kelly Armour (Agriculture Education) and Maria Lanham (Pre-Veterinary Medicine); and seniors Abigail Black (Horticulture), and Curtis Spencer (Agriculture). When noted animal behaviorist Temple Grandin visited the Eastern Kentucky University campus in September 2011 to deliver a Chautauqua lecture, it set in motion a dramatic improvement at EKU’s Meadowbrook Farm.
Students in the College of Business and Technology (CBT) are taking advantage of Eastern Kentucky University’s study abroad programs. CBT students are studying abroad through a variety of affiliates and exchange programs.

EKU's College of Business and Technology is pleased to announce Ms. Julia Niemann Barney as the 2017 Distinguished Senior. Each year, the College of Business and Technology selects a Distinguished Senior. This $1,000 award is given annually at the EKU Scholar's Assembly to the student judged by the Colleges’ department chairs to be the overall distinguished senior.
Each year, the College of Business and Technology honors the very best students from each of our departments with awards and scholarships. Distinguished Senior honors are awarded to students possessing superior academic achievement, excellent leadership, citizenship, character, and service to EKU.
