Annually, the Kentucky Small Business Development Centers and the Kentucky Regional office of the U.S. Small Business Administration recognize outstanding entrepreneurs and thriving small businesses. 

Joyce Green of Richmond, owner of two businesses - Jordan Hill Farms and Karizma Salon - was named the 2013 Kentucky Women Business Advocate of the Year.

The Starving Monkey is the first restaurant home delivery service in Richmond, Ky. Jeff Davis and his family recently started the business and chose the name 'The Starving Monkey' in honor of his precious daughter, Caya, who tragically lost her life this past spring in a swing set accident. "She absolutely adored monkeys. She probably owned 30 to 40 toy monkeys.
