General Business major Patric Sundlof was named Adidas Ohio Valley Conference Male Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.  The senior finished tied for first at the Cardinal Intercollegiate.

This marks the first year for a new program that the Richmond Chamber of Commerce is offering students at Eastern Kentucky University. The Chamber has partnered with the College of Business and Technology to give 19 students the unique opportunity of becoming a Colonel Chamber Ambassador.

Nicki Henry is a senior Golf Management major at EKU. She hails from Chagrin Falls, Ohio and is a member of the Women’s Golf team. Nicki is a shining example of a student athlete at EKU. She maintains a 4.0 grade point average while managing a demanding academic and athletic schedule. She carved out some time for us to ask a few questions about her experience at Eastern.

AG Announces Stateland Dairy Grand and Reserve Grand Champions

The 3rd annual Stateland Dairy Show was held Friday, September 26, 2014, at EKU's Meadowbrook Farm. Well attended by students' friends and family, the event would not have been possible without the help of Chad Powers, Matt Collins, and Robby Estes who worked long hours to get the barn ready.

Givens elected to SPJ national board

Dr. Deborah T. Givens, assistant professor in the Department of Communication at Eastern Kentucky University, has been elected to a two-year term on the national board of directors of the Society of Professional Journalists. The election took place at the Society’s annual conference Sept. 4 through 7 in Nashville.

When Kristel Smith and her team began planning for the Women Leading Kentucky conference at Eastern Kentucky University, they expected no more than 60 people to show up.

“I said, ‘No, let’s shoot for 100,’” Smith said Thursday as the conference culminated.
